Heritage heavy and a richly varied, scenic adventure created around woodland and water. Steady and gentle elevation in the first half is rewarded by some magnificent Peak District vistas. With the route offering constantly rewarding trails throughout, the largely excellent surfaces will get you into a great rhythm.
On the outskirts of Macclesfield, this Bollington SixPack route serves up several champagne moments to savour along the way on a very flat route immersed in industrial heritage. Elevated views will elate and the mostly firm surfaced trails will definitely help lift your pace amidst Peak District panoramas. A jolly good route, we say. Cheers!
An undulating multi-terrain suburban route that cleverly links three rewarding trail areas: Bramhall Park, Happy Valley Nature Reserve and Carr Wood.
A richly varied, multi-surfaced, heritage loop with gorgeous scenery and a few ups and downs to take the breath away in all senses. Follow the barges up the famous locks and enjoy the stunning and peaceful trails along canals, rivers, and woodland in the shadow of a magnificent viaduct.
Tales from the past aplenty amidst tranquil trails, lakes, and nature reserves. No need to start at a gallop, but our host venue, Lindow Common, was once surrounded by a racetrack. The peaceful, adjacent moss was where the bog body (and now British Museum resident) “Lindow Man” was discovered. The body of evidence suggests you’ll enjoy this gorgeous, pan flat exploration. Discover for yourself!
A SixPack park run of sorts! Rewarding, scenic and heritage trail route through The Carrs Park and onwards towards a brief step back in history within Styal Country Park before a flowing return home.
