On completion of all six routes you will receive a bespoke Autumn Gold Medal.
Pan-flat and peaceful, our opening loop takes in the river Trent and Beeston Canal before heading west, to and into the stunning wildlife (and wildfowl) beauty of the Attenborough Nature Reserve. We’ll keep you above water as you walk, jog or run and immerse yourself with enjoyment, homeward bound and, maybe, as well-earned refreshment within the marina complex.
A scenic discovery of the beautiful Fleet Pond, and surrounding area. You are guided along firm sandy woodland paths leading to board walks and lakeside vistas. Woodland canopies grace the route throughout. Not a hill in sight!
Alice Holt offers up a stunning, meandering forest exploration along pine strewn paths, past a beautiful hidden pond and picturesque forest glades. Plenty of undulations to ensure a wonder-full workout!
The tranquil Basingstoke Canal escorts you towards the military training area of Ash Common and, then, amidst a woodland wonder of gorgeous trails. A short final rendezvous with the canal beckons your return. Varied and verdant. Flat and fabulous!
Take flight along scenic paths as you meander through stunning woodland, along a peaceful canal tow path and through coniferous, overhung forest glades. At the far end of your joyous trail route, look out for the celebrity jets. Runway action all the way!
Three slivers of greenbelt land combine to offer up a richly varied and fascinating exploration. There’s woodland wonder before sauntering past Toton Sidings. A brief canal caper too before a final flat section amidst your urban surrounds.
