With heathlands, woodlands and ponds, Yateley Common Country Park offers a delightful and peaceful runner’s retreat. Your gently undulating route constantly moves in and out of woodland. Unspoilt, serene and enchanting, it’s not common at all really!
A fascinating and richly varied route that takes in the heathland, ponds and woodland of the country park whilst exploring the military’s vehicle testing area ‘next door’. Some stunning views to reward the hill climb on two legs, including High Curley Hill. Worth giving this route a ‘wurl’ for sure!
Amidst the new Mindenhurst housing development, on what was once Deepcut Barracks, is a delightful SANG: a suitable alternative natural greenspace. From here, we embark on lovely woodland and forest trails. One or two testing climbs along the way, but rewards aplenty.
A varied and rewarding circular route during which running delights abound either side of the M3. Not least when you enter the military training area that is Minley Manor. Stunning forest canopies escort your ascent whilst woodland trails and green corridors take you to flat, route-ending meadows.
Richly varied, multi-terrain out and back loop with several hills. Footwear with traction recommended, especially for the initial woodland section and across the parkland.
Varied multi-terrain route which includes fields, tracks and paths with some road work. Circular loop with a couple of hillier sections. Trail shoes with plenty of traction recommended.
