The Summer Challenge is open

The deadline to complete the routes and submit evidence for the Summer challenge is the 30th September 2024

What is it?

We’ve created six beautiful and bespoke routes of varying distances.

Walk, jog or run. It’s up to you. Choose any route, at any time and in any order!

How Does it Work?

We provide you with bespoke turn-by-turn audio instructions as well as precise locations for the start and parking, ensuring safe and seamlessly smooth route navigation and outdoor discovery.

What Do I Need?

You will need a smartphone and these two apps: RunGo and what3words

You will also need a link to the SixPack location group which will be sent in your participant pack following your registration.

What Do I Get?

You will receive the following on signing up:

  • Six bespoke routes crafted by runners for runners
  • Access to each route, all with carefully customised turn-by-turn navigation
  • Access to an Interactive Leaderboard
  • Informative and easy-to-use instructions

On completion of all six routes you will receive a bespoke SixPack medal.

Choose from either the original SixPack Metal Medal or the Win Challenge Summer Medal.


The Routes


The People's 5K

Glasgow Green

Don your running shoes for this flat,  fast 5Km in the east end of Glasgow City Centre. Glasgow Green is a 55 hectares/136 acres site and is by far the oldest of the city’s parks. It is situated within walking distance of the city centre, east of the Saltmarket.


Windy Eagle 10K

Whitelee Windfarm

A spectacular 10Km circular run within the UK’s largest onshore windfarm, located on Eaglesham Moor just 20 minutes from central Glasgow. Trail shoes with good traction for muddy conditions needed.


Landmarks 5K


A rewarding loop along the River Clyde with a nod to some of Glasgow’s most famous landmarks. Taking in the Armadillo, SSE Hydro, Science Centre and crossing the awesome River Clyde over the Clyde Arc and running in front of the BBC Scotland buildings, with spectacular views from Pacific Quay across the River. 


Rennie Mackintosh 6K

Bellahouston Park

Undulating, park paths, surfaced paths. Circular loop with some zig zag switch back trails . Footwear with some traction recommended, especially in wet conditions.


Amazing Milngavie 10K


A varied multi-terrain route includes tracks and paths with some road work. Taking in two looped sections around two stunning park reservoirs. Trail shoes with good traction are recommended.  


The Burrell Run 6k

Pollock Country Park

Richly varied, multi-terrain out and back loop gently undulating. Footwear with traction recommended, especially for park tracks.
